Compared to jigsaws without orbital action the saw blades of pendulum action jigsaws can accomplish more than just a straight vertical cut. The variably adjustable pendulum action reduces the effort required for the forward movement thus allowing a quicker sawing progress. Our range of PJSS jigsaws comprises three alternative models: battery-powered, with cord and top handle or with cord and barrel grip.
Cordless jigsaw PJSS 10-20V
With the cordless pendulum action jigsaw everything will come off well – even without a nearby socket. For maximum performance the powerful motor of the PJSS 10-20V from Trotec is supplied by an exchangeable high-energy 20 V battery. Its lithium-ion technology prevents memory effect and self-discharge. Thus, the jigsaw is ready for operation at all times even after longer periods of non-use. Using the supplied quick charger an empty battery can be fully charged in about an hour. A three-stage illuminated indicator on the tool informs you of the current battery status.
Jigsaw PJSS 10-230V with cord and top handle
Probably no other pendulum action jigsaw of this class combines as many practice-optimised performance advantages as the PJSS 10-230V. The accomplished combination of equally powerful and smoothly running 850 W motor, 4-step pendulum action, electronic stroke rate selection and scores of other sophisticated details distinguishes this jigsaw and makes it the best recommendation for professional continuous operation, demanding projects and complex renovation work. Hence, a true Trotec PowerTool!
The PJSS 10-230V comes equipped with an innovative laser guide that can be switched on separately as needed. The laser projects a red line on the workpiece indicating the cutting direction. This facilitates the freehand operation of the saw along a straight line. It is easy to see, should you veer off course, so you can just as easily return to the cutting line.
Jigsaw PJSS 11-230V with cord and barrel grip
The PJSS 11-230V is equipped with an equally powerful and smoothly running 850 W motor, 4-step pendulum action, electronic stroke rate selection as well as with an innovative laser guide that can be switched on separately as needed. Designed by Trotec as typical barrel grip jigsaw, this model type has always been a favourite among professionals such as carpenters etc. For owing to the classical baton shape with barrel grip and the low guiding point this jigsaw can be directed very precisely, especially in curves, seeing as the hand can be placed relatively close to the saw blade. The barrel grip design permits optimal two-handed guiding which not only enables precise curved cuts but also a prolonged operation without tiring. Since there is no top handle in the way, the PJSS 11-230V is particularly well suited for overhead sawing work or sawing from below.
With battery, cord or barrel grip – always the perfect cut due to pendulum action
With the PJSS models the perfect cut is an everyday routine. This is ensured by the combination of infinitely variable stroke rate control with safety switch and adjustable 4-step pendulum action incl. fine-cut setting. It permits easier notching and material-compatible working whilst ensuring a quick sawing progress and an improved manoeuvrability in curves. In wood the PJSS jigsaws achieve cutting depths of up to 80 mm, up to 12 mm in aluminium and 5 mm metal. Whilst a transparent anti-splinter guard with marker point ensures precise tear-free cuts for your sawing work, there will be no sawdust obstructing your view of the well illuminated cutting area of the workpiece thanks to the integrated LED lamps and the practical blow-out functions. For dust-free indoor operation the blower function can also be set to suction mode. By means of the adapter you can attach a vacuum cleaner to the dust extraction connection of this versatile jigsaw. The quick-release chucks permit a tool-free saw blade exchange in a matter of seconds. By the way, a number of high-quality saw blades for all application areas are already included in the scope of delivery – therefore get started right away.

Ergonomic design for fatigue-free working
In terms of ergonomics, the compact PJSS models were optimized for professional continuous operation: with a perfectly positioned centre of gravity and additional soft grip inlays in the housing. Consequently, a firm and secure grip is ensured even during longer operation for low-vibration sawing at all times. With the robust steel base plates they can be directed very precisely. A plastic sliding plate for the protection of sensitive workpieces is also supplied. For mitre cuts the plate can be swivelled to both sides in increments of 15° (max. 45°). This adjustment does not require tools.

Every pendulum action jigsaw of Trotec’s PJSS series was tested by the German Association for Technical Inspection (TÜV) and therefore guarantees a high level of quality, safety and functionality.
